#Greece #Flights :: Ryanair's New Links #Corfu-Birmingham (UK) + 9 Other Airports

A 737-800 landing at another of Ryanair's hubs in Greece
at Crete's Chania International Airport.
From next summer's schedules (2016) Ryanair  will add additional capacity into Corfu from April 26.

#Corfu - #Birmingham is one of the new routes. Ryanair is capitalising in the withdrawal of Monarch Airlines on that service. It should be noted that Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways are already operating the Birmingham-Corfu link.

Also from summer 2016 Ryanair makes Corfu its 75th hub around Europe.  To cater to some of the many extra frequencies and routes the Irish carrier is basing one Boeing 737-800 there. As a result other new routes will link the Ionian Island of Corfu as follows:

Corfu – Rome Fiumicino 2x weekly from 29MAR16
Corfu – Budapest 1x weekly from  28APR16
Corfu – Cologne 2x weekly from  28APR16
Corfu – Venice Treviso 2x weekly from  28APR16
Corfu – Bratislava 1x weekly from  29APR16
Corfu – Poznan 1x weekly from  29APR16
Corfu – Rzeszów 1x weekly from  01MAY16
Corfu – Katowice  1 weekly from  02MAY16
Corfu – Warsaw Modlin 1x weekly from  02MAY16
and Corfu – Pisa 2x weekly from 03JUN16

Further, Ryanair is also increasing frequencies to UK  -
Corfu – East Midlands an increase from 1 to 2 weekly from 02APR16
Corfu – London Stansted  an increase from 4 to 5 weekly from 27APR16
